About Me

I’ve always had an insatiable appetite for solving problems and creating things in the world around me.  I tend to find a lot of inspiration from the real world and try to bring life to digital spaces, and make them feel more dynamic, better for the humans using them.  I’ve got a pretty diverse background of skills, but I think of that as a huge asset in making me the Swiss Army Knife of digital media and design.

History

I have a degree from Kendall College of Art and Design in Digital Media, had an internship working in post production audio where I did the foley for a kid’s show, two short films, and several feature length films along with editing on audio books, ads, and more.

Having worked in IT for many years in various roles, from sales and customer support to Salesforce administration, app architecture, and front end web development, I decided to combine what I do best and bring my obsession for good customer experience, my foundation in design, tech skills and industry knowledge together and work in UI/UX Design and Instructional Design.  I think the two inform the other in terms of making a design work well for an audience.

Outside of Work

When I’m not working, I’m probably cooking, thinking about what next to cook, making cheese and hot sauce, or gardening.  Autre chose, je parle français aussi !
